By clicking this link you as the owner of the property are requesting the Fire Marshal to come out and conduct a comprehensive inspection to identify "hazards" such as fuels, brush, fire loading and evaluate "risk". Risk are factors associated with the home such as the roof, exterior wall surface, decking, patio covers, windows, doors, attic vents and identify if vulnerabilites exist and produce a document to use towards retro fitting these to harden the home against wildfire.
By assessing these hazards and risks the goal is to lower them both. Through collaboration between the homeowner, fire district and partners we are addressing Firewise goals to strengthen resiliency.
